Properties Include Thomas & Friends(TM), Bob the Builder(TM) and Barney(TM)

MALIBU, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2007--JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (Nasdaq:JAKK) announced three new licensing agreements with HIT Entertainment, a leading provider of quality preschool entertainment, under which JAKKS will develop multiple activity arts & crafts items based on the popular children's properties Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder and Barney, including magnetic scenes, roll desks, jumbo activity pads and more. JAKKS' Flying Colors division is expected to launch the products in Fall 2007.

JAKKS currently manufactures Plug It In & Play TV Games(TM) and Snugglers(TM) plush pillow characters from JAKKS' Play Along® division, as well as preschool and plush toys marketed under the JAKKS' Child Guidance® brand for Barney.

Under the agreement, JAKKS Pacific is currently developing the following new activity items:

    --  Thomas & Friends Roll Desk with Lights and Sounds - An
        activity roll desk with an integrated child-safe paper cutter
        in the shape of Thomas the Tank Engine. The roll desk includes
        storage space for crayons, markers and printed activity paper
        (also included).

    --  Thomas & Friends Jumbo Activity Floor Pad - A giant pad with
        45 pages of activities and accessories, including crayons,
        paints, child-safe scissors and glue. In addition to floor
        play, it can be toted around by its built in handle and used
        anywhere.

    --  Thomas & Friends Magnetic Tin - An all-in-one activity! The
        Thomas the Tank Engine shaped container opens to feature two
        Island of Sodor background dioramas, and includes engines and
        other characters and scenery that can be positioned on the
        background.

JAKKS also plans to introduce On-The-Go Travel Activities, Character Stampers and Dry Erase Desks.
